Agents
AI agents pay Laso over x402: the agent signs a USDC transfer authorization and a facilitator submits it onchain and pays the gas. On Base, those payments can be counted exactly. On Solana, agent deposits are mixed with people's, so they get an upper bound.
x402 payments on Base
A payment counts as x402 when the USDC moved through transferWithAuthorization, the signed-transfer call x402 uses. Plain transfers into the same address are people paying from their own wallets.
Who pays
The wallets that signed x402 payments to Laso, by all-time volume. One agent operator can run several wallets.

Address 0x3291…2b37 on Base, pulled from Alchemy. Solana is covered in the next section. Laso's docs name Coinbase as the facilitator; the transactions were submitted by 26 different wallets.
Solana deposit addresses
On Solana, Laso gives payers their own deposit address and sweeps the money into its main wallet, paying the fee itself. Laso says agent deposits arrive this way, but so do people's, and the chain data can't tell them apart. Treat this as an upper bound on Solana agent volume, not a measure of it.
In a sample of 20 of these addresses, most were funded from the payer's own wallet, and only a few by a third party paying the fee, which is how a facilitator-submitted x402 payment would look. The 30-day total is close to the $280.7K that public x402 trackers attribute to Laso.
